stephenzca
Congratulations Unaka. Y'all have proven to be the best and y'all went thro some great teams to be there. I guess this just shows that it doesn't matter if you're private or public, you still have a chance. Good luck to next years teams. Well now on to baseball and soccer. youshouldstay25
but near the end of the game, one of our players (#24) fouled one of your player (and yes he did foul him kinda hard) but when our player came quickly to help him up he slapped his hand away...and on the next play on the inbound, he went over and nocked #24 to the ground.... dh, i tried to tell you #24 was a scrub on the court... krichunaka
dh, i tried to tell you #24 was a scrub on the court... youshouldstay25, I met "#24" just after the game. I'm not sure of every detail of what happened on the court, but the #24 from Grace that I watched play and was honored to speak with was very well mannered, composed (after a devastating loss) and otherwise nothing but a work in good sportsmanship. I can also add that the Ranger players in the media room each shook hands with him, and saluted him for his effort and talent. And to think......he's only a sophomore. Now that takes a lot of class; and we met so many classy folks from throughout the state this week.....from Clark Range in the ladies tournament on through Saturday night. Looks like the two top rated teams for next season could come from Chattanooga: Grace and Temple. Temple loses NO STARTERS. You guys should really have some great success next year. sportiemom
HOW SWEET IT IS! Unaka Rangers have made History for the Creek. This is so sweet! I have watched you boys play since elementary and have enjoyed watching you grow into what you are today, (WINNERS). You have not only raised the bar for Unaka, but you have also raised it for all small public schools in Tennessee. I am so very proud of you and I am proud to be a Ranger Mom. Thank you. But don't stop here. Lets bring it home year after year. Although I believe it takes a whole team to win. Tyler, You played an exceptional state tournament and you are the MVP. Congratulations! Josh, Rusty, and Cody, I am going to miss you next year. Good luck in anything you decide to do. Derek, Delbert, Tyler, Chase, Mike, Josh, Tee, Aaron, Adam, and Chris ~ Getter Done in "2005" Congratulations Donald, Johnny, Richard and Bo Bo ~ Keep making winners out of the creekers. ulcpanther
Unaka Rangers, the little school on Stoney Creek, State Champions. I know how proud every one on The Creek must be. It sounded like you took the entire population of the Unaka Nation with ya. What a time you must have had. Just wanted you to know we were pulling for the small school on The Creek. Congratulations.
