Has anyone heard anything about how things are going in the big town of Decatur?

Every thing is doing pretty good! We start spring practice in May and we scrimmage Midway and Harriman. We have several people comming back as well. We lost 6 seniors so we will be ok. We are expecting a better year this year than the last 2 previous years. We will only have probably 3 seniors starting this year but several Juniors and Sophmores, maybe 2 Freshman. Coach Martin from Sweetwater that came last year is doin a tremendous job.

I agree - looks like we really have a shot at winning the region this year. The players seem very excited and ready. This year will be nothing like the last. I also think we will probably be the most suprising team in 2a.

Does meigs have the speed to have a really good season?

Meigs has a little speed but will try to rely on wing-t misdirection to score points and a good defense to get along

Come on now, maybe second in the region- but do you really believe you will beat Tyner for region title? I agree Meigs will be better as the only significant player they lost was Kranz, but I think 2-6 is region is all up for grabs. Tyner is definite favorite for title.

Tyner loses too much meat on the line to be as dominant as they were last year. Sure, they'll have speed, but fewer blockers. That region could be wide open next year.

I Agree with what C-dub says. We Had plenty of Talleneted seniors. Kranz was the most "well known."

Eddie Van Halen, you hit it right on the nose!!! The region is up for grabs for the fact that Tyner will loose those big guys. For years they have been the dominant team, now the tide needs to turn. We will be ready for the challenge of #1.

Tyner doesnt need that many blockers. they can out run the tacklers. Run sweeps everytime
