now if shelbyville wins there game they advance to the region as well as the winner of the columbia franklin county game. if shelbyville loses, then they will play the winner of columbia franklin county with the winner advancing to the region.

in 7-AAA, we have :

 

Lebanon vs Blackman in a resumed game with Blackman leading 1-0 in the

second inning - the winner meets Riverdale later tomorrow night...

 

Cookeville won 5-4 over Siegel and meets Oakland tomorrow night and

play 2 if they win the first one.

 

The two pool winners meet either Wednesday (if Riverdale wins tomorrow

night) or Thursday (if Riverdale loses tomorrown night) at the highest

remaining seed.

 

8-AAA

9-AAA - heard Lavergne - Hendersonvile was a wild one..

Lavergne vs. Hendersonville was a good game...10 innings 14-11 3 grandslams by Hendersonville...16 hits by lavergne 1 homerun in the top of the 10 to make it 11-9 but hendersonville got a guy walked in and then the grand slam

I don't understand how anyone follows the 4-AAA or 3-AAA tournament brackets. I'm reading through information and a team w/ 1 loss is playing a team without a loss. there must be some method to the madness. Can anyone help me understand why the bracket is set up that way? just curious why you wouldn't have just a straight up double elimination tourny. Thanks

Bartlett plays Cordova tomorrow at 4 or 4:30 (seen both times), loser leaves town, winner advances to the regional, as well as to the finals against Munford at 7, with the second championship game being Wednesday at 7, if necessary.

District I AAA Dobyns Bennett defeats Science Hill 8-5 in winners bracket to improve to 28-9 on the year. Ben Allen came on in relief to hold Science Hill at bay. Brantley Kilgore goes two for three with a double. In losers bracket South comes back to defeat and eliminate Tenn High 5-4. Science Hill and South will play Wed night in an elimination game with winner facing Dobyns Bennett Thursday.
