I've got a stupid question for you about the brackets. Is it "one and done" for the first round of the regionals. Surely it's not possible that Farragut can lose the first game and then be out of it.

Monday's games decide how far you go. If you lose Monday, you are out. If you win Monday, then Wednesday's games decide where and whom you play on Friday.

So yes, Farragut could lose Monday and be gone.

Yes, it is true that if Farragut loses to Karns on Monday they are out.

However, in their only match-up this season at Farragut the final score was 16-1 with Karns only run off an Iorg HR.

Anybody know if the starting pitchers have been announced???

The baseballs were juiced that day! I'm going to soak them in water before the game and see if we can keep a few in the infield.

Good luck with that! I do think it will be a closer game than last time, but Farragut's entire lineup is crushing the ball right now. 9 homeruns in two games and 13 in the district tourney. They just might be peaking at the right moment.

Farragut 13

Karns 2 (assuming Waldrop doesn't pitch)

good luck to Iorg at 'bama, look forward to watching him play at the next level
