Milan Wins State

How many think that milan is goin all the way? these guys are playin great ball and i think that they are gonna dominate all the way to the state championship. They have only been beaten by jcm and 2 outta state teams. I was just wonderin who thinks they are takin the trophy home because i havent really heard a lot of talk about them this year bein dominant.

Milan has a good chance of making it to state. But they take one game at a time and they have to pass Marshall Co. first, this friday at Bulldog Field.

I believe Milan's only in-state loss was to Trinity Christian, not JCM

Milan is the district 11AA champion as well as the region 6AA champion. If Milan wins against Dyer County on Tuesday (10 AM), then they will play against Grundy Co. (provided they win) at 7 PM. That will be a joy to watch!

I'm so glad to see Walker Valley go down in flames. They've been talkin to much junk. If Milan and Grundy Co. play each other at 7:00 on Tuesday (which i feel they will) that will be a huge game. I think they are probably the top 2 teams left. Not to put down any of the other 6 teams, they are all great also and have a chance to win state, they obviously had what it took to get here.

at the beginning of the season i never thought milan would make it as far as they did, not to down them or anything but i didn't think they would make it out of region b/c they didn't have any dominant pitching

If Milan can get past Grundy then they will more than likely be facing DL for the championship. Should be a great AA tourney.
