cool ---> appreciate it! Ya know, that is one of the biggest differences that you see between the scrimmages now versus the past; now they are scrimmaging healthy competition. I can remember our scrimmages from 1985-87 time frame: Sullivan South, Seymour and once against Rhea Co (when Andy Kelly was a rising Senior). Not that there is anything wrong with those schools, but for the most part, we were under matched.

Should be great scrimmages. AE also has some tough ones. Seymour on Friday, Maryville on Tuesday and Central on Thursday. The following week they practice with Oak Ridge. AE now has the depth to play this druling schedule.

I think I`ll be making a trip down 11E to see this one,what time does it start most years?

I don't know the times yet. I hope they start at 7:00. I may have to miss the AE scrimmage.

wll you be giving scores, stats, and excuse reports from the scrimmages like last year?

I may give the results and tell who played well. One thing I will never do is make excuses. If AE,Oak Ridge or DB whips Maryville there will be no excuses. I have never made excuses for Maryville losing a game. When MOWest beat Maryville I congratulated them. They beat Maryville fair and square.

Going to be good one's! Hope the injury list is smaller this year after these match ups. The kids from all of these schools go hard like it was a game. I'm looking forward to these scrimmages. Look for me I'll be the guy wearing red!

I'm waiting for us and the Rebs to start playing during the season. We need to because seeing you guys later in the year prepares us for the playoffs unlike the "grueling" Region 1-5A schedule that we play every year.
