Yes, I remember what happened at RainFest 2002 in Neyland. There's one big difference. Now we have a qb that can actually run 5 yards without getting winded like duckfooted Clausen. Clausen relied on a passing game, while Schaeffer can get out there and make plays with his feet. But he might not have as much luck against Florida. The only game that interests me this week is Halls and Powell. I'll probably just sit inside out of the rain and finish homework :o

I remember in 2001 when rain from a hurricane came through on one friday night. It was our homecoming night and we never thought about canceling the game. Football is meant to be played in this weather. We had constant heavy rain all nigh with winds of 50 mph. It was the worse weather imaginable but we still played. I love playing in it even though I was freezing once the night was over. Play the games on Friday night.

Bring on Ivan and whoever else wants to come and rain on us. Bring back Andrew if you'd like (don't think people in Miami would like that), there's nothing that could stop me from being at Neyland. I'm expecting a record crowd despite the rain to watch the freshmen against Leak. Come rain or rain, I'll be in the 57th row of the best stadium in the country in my poncho.

I was checking out WBIR's update @ 1:30 this afternoon at lunch and according to the track it's supposed to be sitting in the ET Valley by 8 a.m. on Saturday...so SE TN will get soaked because it's going to be in North and Central Bama on Friday by 8 a.m....if the track hasn't changed since then...

Keep in mind these storm trackers are going by the eye of the hurricane, not the 100 plus miles of wind and rain that is north and east of the eye. These predicated times are for the EYE of the storm, not just the storm itself.
