Best Field in the state!

Greenbrier really has a nice field and the logo painted in the middle is awesome.

I agree Greenbriers field looks good but the visiting side bleachers are not safe. Last year when Lipscomb played there it was not fun sitting in those bleachers. I worried about my daughter falling thru the whole night. Are they any better this year?

I'd have to agree with Bobcats56. Greenbrier's staff puts in a huge amount of time before each home game in painting the GB shield and lines. The end zones have even been "checkerboarded" a few times. They have it down to a science.

I can't tell you who does the best job with their field but I could cast a vote for the worst. At the Sullivan South/Greeneville game last Friday the field was not at its best. It was in such bad need of paint one could hardly see the yardlines or the numbers. The field was poorly lit, a condition not improved by the large number of blown bulbs. This is such a nice stadium and a pleasant place to attend a game, its a shame you can't see the field or the players.

Since Ag. class took over our field it is being kept up very well.

White County's Dickie Brown has their field looking better than I have seen it in quite some time.

Coach Sanders at SD manages that field like no other field manager ever!  He does a great job!

The paint job at SD is a team effort. I watched the whole coaching staff put the spears in the end zones. The project seemed to be headed up by the artistic assistant coach Charlie Brentz. Yes, Coach Sanders does a great job.

The field now has new aluminum bleachers for this season. I know the old wooden ones werent the best in the world, but people make em out to be horrible when they werent. Anyways, Greenbrier's field is very well kept. The grass is awesome, the lines are straight as arrows, the shield in the middle is quite a sight, but nothing gets me like those checkered endzones... man I love that field thumb

Hands down its Maryville High. Their feild is taken care of better than the grass in front of the Whitehouse.

Oak Ridge has the yard lines painted read in the playoffs with the red and white checkerboard in the endzone, very nice

Riverdale has the best field I've ever played on. Sevier County had the best paint job when I saw them play Riverdale in the 1997 playoffs.

I have to say that Tullahoma has a very nice field. There is always a huge "T" painted on the 50 and each endzone says WILDCATS. Pretty spiffy if you ask me.

HAHAHA SODDY DAISYS FOOTBALL FIELD LAST YEAR. That was by far the most CRAPY thing that could ever happen to a football field....i mean how in the heck could somthing like that happen. "for those people that dont know about what im talking about soddys septic tank is under the football field and well the dirt down there wasnt really dirt at all, but man that grass was a really preatty green ill just leave it at that"
