This will be a big game and will have a HUGE thumb crowd. Oak Ridge always travels well with a crowd and Farragut with their winning season will have a big crowd as well. Get there early! Oak Ridge is focusing on one game at a time and KNOWS that on any Friday night an overlooked team will beat you bad. ROLL WILDCATS ROLL! thumb

By The Way all the WmBlount pictures are now loaded on the CoachT photo gallery and there will be Farragut pics!

PS

Boyfromsi,

I saw you at the McMinn game in your #23 shirt but didn't know it was you until I got home and read the message where you told people that was what you would be wearing...if that makes any sense.

It would have been a pleasure to meet the classiest Oak Ridge fan on coacht! Are you coiming up to Oak Ridge for the Ooltewah game? The atmosphere should be awesome. As for this wek's game, this should be a hard fought one, but like the William Blount game, I'm really liking the way our line is playing. I give the Cats the edge in this one, but in the best of the Willie the Wildcat tradition, I'm holding off predicting a score.

Go Cats!!

This post is not meant to pick on Slimwrastler. For me, the Oak Ridge vs Farragut game IS the game of the year. I know most everybody else feels it's the DB game but there was a time when Wildcat fans hated Farragut more then anybody else. Well, Clinton has also ALWAYS been a big rivalry.

Okay, here is the score for the game four years ago:

2000 Oak Ridge 41 Farragut 21.

It's not hard for Farragut's defense to be better this year since the Wildcats have averaged scoring 27 points a game on them the last four years.

Farragut[/url] always plays tough against ya'll, you know that [quote name='slimwrastler54

Oak Ridge leads the series with a 23 - 4 record.

Boy' date=' I'm sure fired up now! Oak Ridge will get a stern test from a very good Farragut team but wins 28 - 17.

Don't overlook Farragut and Roll Wildcats Roll!

Roll Wildcats Roll. Congradulations Faragut on an awesome record this year. I know you guys are going to see Friday night Lights this week. Thing is guys thats just a movie. Sitting in the theatre doesnt hurt like it does on Saturday morning. Looking foward to a real smash mouth football game. As far as looking past Faragut or somehow coming out thinking this is in the bag.

Well I just have to look back one week. If Oak Ridge can travel an hour get off the bus and be as fired up as I have seen them all year to play a team that hasnt won a single game all year. Just think how ready they will be to turn your little undefeated record and blow it up like an atom bomb.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.
    • Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?
    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
