insane game....siegel up 2-0 then let it slip away.... although the second goal for Tullahoma in regulation was on a BS 6 second call on the siegel keeper...(which hasnt been called all year and is supposed to be a warning first) siegel had their chances to win in this game and was really the better team on tuesday but the better team doesnt always win and thats the way it goes..... something scary for the rest of region 4... Siegel wont be losing a starter for the next two years

Where in the rule book does it say the keeper is supposed to be warned. As I have been told there is no such warning in the rule book.

It is an unwritten rule..it is one of those rules that a ref with any decency would give a warning first...I've seen a warning given out for it many times just to alert the keeper but that is it never beyond that .put it this way....college football refs hardly ever used to call illegal formation for the lineman curling back to get an adv....how would u feel if they called that in a close game with under a minute left where u say your team got a TD...thats the same case as it was with the 6 second rule...are you saying that ref would have made the same call with 20 minutes left in the half or in the first half???? The call was based on the timing in the game...and if u would watch that goalie all night....she took the same amount of time each time she went to kick...i can understand if a goalie is back there stalling and it is blatant..but to make a call where the timing is your deciding factor in whether or not to call it..... Either call it all game and be consistent or dont call it dont let other factors such as score and timing affect whether or not you call it... such as that ref did. I dont want to get on here and sound like im whining because it was an awesome game i just hate for siegel that a ref made a call in essence to help Tullahoma get back in the game

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
