Ive been to every game this yr and I have to say we are steamrolling over everyone, but one game and that game is behind us now. We are just focused on the upcoming games and the playoffs which more than likely we will have home-field advantage for the first time in a while which will help us. For the past 2-3 yrs we have had to travel to Happy Valley and then we had to travel somewhere else after that and no one likes traveling anywhere in the playoffs cause it puts pressure on you and most likely aren't as comfortable as you would be at home. So hopefully we can finish our season 9-1 and have 1st round home-field advantage and then go from there.

Rockwood better be ready. Last year was extremely tough but the Tigers pulled out the win 14-8. Rutledge will try to smashmouth the Tigers all night with the option game. They play a ton of players. Rutledge has some size that will match up with the big offensive line that the Tigers will bring. Rockwood will need to be two dimensional again this week to stretch the defense. The Tigers know that Rutledge will not just lay down. Tigers be ready. We will see everybody on Friday.

Rutlege has lost 4 straight, after winning 4 against 4 powder puff teams.

Their wins came against cupcakes Cumberland Gap, Gibbs, Claiborne and West Greene a combined 8-24. This game wont be close.

Rutledge runs 3 plays, HB off tackle(almost every play), option when they get bored of diving into the line, and on 3rd and long a fade route. Rockwood wins by 30 again.

On another note last year Rockwood won every game when they held opponents under 24 pts. This year they've won every game when they have scored at least 24, usually scoring over 30 pts a game. Its kind of strange how a team that played mostly field position/strong defense last year, has become a much more offensive team. A lot could be contributed to a that the players are a year older at most of the skilled positions and some underclassmen have filled in for Pryor, Bowman, and Scruggs.

Trash talk is for other teams...Rockwood has class. Rutledge will be more than ready, and it doesn't matter who they have played or who we have played. It doesn't even matter what our records are. MaC, you are a fellow Rockwood fan, but don't give the other team locker room material. Also, Rutledge has been close in every game they have lost except Fulton. Someone could say that we have just beaten powder puff teams...I don't agree, but we haven't established ourselves as a powerhouse yet. We are headed in the right direction. To be the best you got to beat the best. We still have to get better! We are just trying to take one game at a time. Rutledge will be ready and so should Rockwood!
