Replace Country Boys with Thugs and then you have the right equation. Although, SeigelTackle, I think those Country Boys thumped you guys something like 78-6 last year.

Smyrna thumps every team in Rutherford Co. They won the Rutherford Duals with their JV before. Smyrna is at a disadvantage because they are in the largest District in the state and have to wrestle all of those teams. The weaker teams make it hard for them to schedule harder teams.

I think you may have missed the point. When you comment on what they have done before, it ignores the question of how will they do this season. I hope Coach G. has them working hard and they do well.

No need to be a jerk man. That's all I'll say on that.

 

I've been helping out over at Smyrna a bit with Hamm and I think they're going to be alright this year. They're well coached and the boys, for the most part, seem to have a positive work ethic. They don't have the tremendous innate talent that other teams are blessed with (*cough* Bradley/Soddy, although they are extremely well coached as well. Not trying to take anything away from them.), but they do have standouts that can make some noise this year. If you underestimate this team, you're making a huge mistake.

Nope, got your facts wrong. 1st of all, I am not a Smyrna wrestler nor associated with their team. But I do remember the match at the Rutherford County Duals. siegel had no forfeits against Smyrna. They had a full squad.
