DCCATVOICE
Spencer is 17 but he looks 19 especially when he runs over LB's.
TankTalk
I am certainly excited about seeing my second Oak Ridge game of the season and my first playoff game. Should be a great start to the second season.
dragonsn05
how many yards does Gilmire have? I have a buddy who works in a machine shop at Y-12. He goes to all the games and he says that Gilmire is the best he has ever seen at Oak Ridge. Is that true? Maybe I need to check him out since the Dragons won't be playin. VolTimesSportsEditor
By the time he finishes his senior year I think Spencer will be considered the best running back in Oak Ridge history. He is that d@mn good. Edited November 1, 2004 by VolTimesSportsEditor
OakRidgeCat
Besides being a great running back one of his best attributes is that he knows he is not good all by himself, he shares any recognition with his team members who help make it all happen. He shares with the other running backs who are also very good, aka Leonard Blair, aka Jake vane and others who keep the other teams from keying on him because anybody who has seen OR play knows that the ball can go to any of the backs and they are dangerous (Soddy found this out the hard way). They not only run the ball well, but watch them block for each other and the QB McMahon. It is a TEAM and they know it, which is a really good thing! OakRidgeCat
Key words are "taking care of business." Do not overlook the Bears - stay focused on one game, one team at a time.
