Just for the grins of it, who do you think will hit the jack-pot next year and why?

Depends on who all will be in the Mountain Lakes conference next year with the reclassification.

 

Teams that could be in the MLC that wasnt before are Volunteer and Sullivan North.

I hear North is being added, not Volunteer. They will go to the IMAC. Just the rumor mill though.

Anybody's guess except the top two. 3 & 4 will be a battleground.

South wins the conference the next 3 years in a row. They are loaded with young talent. No team in the conference has touched their freshmen the last 3 years. Sit back and watch. You heard it here first.

Does East drop a class? They should be good next year too. Maybe not as much of a passing team but loads of RB's.

Hey Scott, you might want to check on South's JV. The freshman impact is 1-2 years off probably. Think the Elizabethton JV "got by" South.

I like Betsy's game next year and the year after especially. They only have 10 seniors and 11 juniors this year and have done quite well with the small numbers. Their JV was undefeated with big wins against DB and SH. JV numbers are descent (23 sophs). Should be very talented and bigger for '05 & '06.

South's JV this year WAS the varsity. Not to cut the JV, but it was basically Sophs and Juniors who are not on the same level as the Freshmen and Varsity players. Freshmen didn't have a close game all year including a romping of D-B. Varsity only graduates 2 impact players. So, I guess South's JV "got by" Betsy's varsity huh???
