who is going to beat temple?

Rockwood played Temple this summer and got beat by 5 or 7 I think, but the only way they could play again would be at the State Tournament.

hey warriorman-good call, but temple killed rockwood in the scrimmage, and was up by twenty the entire game until they put their second team in and rockwood came back a little I think temple beat them by fifteen.

since when did temple become the team to beat? CPA beat them by 13 and 19 last year. at the beginning and end of the year.

CPA also beat Grace early in the season! Then when it counted what happened? If Temple would have played CPA in the tournament they would have beat them too.

Grace, Temple, and CCS are playing in a tournament with Unaka, CPA and a couple of other teams.  Temple may lose at least once during that tournament.  It will be fun watching some of the best teams in 1a play that weekend.

When and where is this tournament?

the dates are jan. 6-8, and there are 8 teams playing. CPA, Mccallie, Lighthouse Christian, Unaka, CCS, Temple, Grace, and CHS. I saw Temple play this summer and they looked pretty good, but you gotta watch out for christian heritage this year, we are gonna be pretty tough. I know Mccallie has got some talent also, but we got them at home Jan 21st. The tourney is at Tennessee Temple University.

oh yea, Temple is very good...but I think they can be beaten. Every team can be beaten, but yea they havea good ball club ill give them that and they are a tough team to beat. And that tourny should be a good from what all ive heard !!! see you guys there !!! good luck to everyone in the season...whoever you may be going for thumb

I'm a Temple fan -- and I am smart enough to know that someone will beat them during the season, but I believe when it comes to tournament time they will go all the way this year.

 

Of all the teams Temple plays during the season these are the teams -- I think can beat the Crusaders:

-- CPA

-- McCallie

-- Ooltewah

 

There's the possibility that there are other teams -- but these are the ones I feel are the potential favorites. I know that there will be many who will differ with me --but that is ok.

Temple looked pretty good tonight over at CCS against Sale Creek.

They have a lot more quickness than they did last year and they were lighting it up from the outside. Plus, defensively they looked good.

 

I realize that Sale Creek is not great competition - but the Crusaders showed me something tonight. And Caleb Skogen was jumping out of the gym. He was dunkin' the ball with no trouble and one time he had an "alley hoop" that he should have put down -- and he got a tech for hangin onto the rim while he missed the first dunk and grabbed the miss and put it through. It was sort of wierd how it looked.

 

But anyway, I think it will be difficult for anyone on temple's schedule to beat them easily -- if at all.
