Rankings?

Would someone help make a correction?  At 160 for Father Ryan it is Tyler Mayo . Matt is his dad. I think the dad would go about 220!!!

Will the team ranking process be this way for the whole year or will it change when duels start going?

I must say that I am upset at my fellow DII guys. I wish more would be interested in this ranking. I think we need to put a little pressure to add incintive to get some Baylor and McCallie guys to get there lineups in. Good job Hamm for doing what you had to work with. It looks like we could see some good competetion from the unheard of DII guys in the state. Should make for an exciting year.

DI - Holliman should be infront of Wright in my opinion.

DII - Brient Hobbs doesn't even go to McCallie anymore. I also hear Mike White is going to challenge Jay Adamson for the 112 slot.

Thanks for the feedback guys! The top 10 teams will definitely start to change when the season starts along with the individual rankings. I tried to rank the guys and teams the best way i knew how, and the team rankings was a bit of a science experiment. I deosn't seem that there are too many fans of the way i've done it so far...LOL.

Even though I'm a huge fan of the rankings (i like knowing who's doing what thru the season) when it comes right down to it, rankings dont matter, its what you do at state that counts. but thanks Hamm for going thru all the trouble to put the rankings up thumb

Keep up the good work! No matter if you had a scientific formula or not, people are not going to always be pleased with the rankings. Especially since they now know where to direct their displeasure. (I may be one of them from time to time ) People will all year be jumping your case because little Johnny beat Billy Bad Ice, even though he's 5-30 on the year. Keep doing your thing, we appreciate it.

lol your welcome.... and it does make good conversation. But everyone needs to realize that there have been times when an unranked guy has placed or even won state... so like i said before rankings mean nothing its just a fun thing to keep up w/

First let me start off by saying I think Josh Baucke is a very good TECHNICAL wrestler, but I seriously doubt his ability to win state this year, or any year unless he learns how to cut weight. He will be absolutely destroyed at 130, because the kids are too strong.

Are the rankings based on the weights that the kids cerified at or just projected weights?
