You showed them what "Purple Pride" is all about tonight! Blount, Walker, Autry...just to name a few... had GREAT games. Let's keep up the good work. And what about Sophmore Vester and his "icing on the cake" interception. Looks like the underclassmen are stepping up. One thing to remember...It takes a team to play football. You were a team tonight and everyone stepped up.

 

Now let's just take it one week at a time. Carver's next and that's the only game we need to concentrate on.

Milan, the better team, dominated the game. Day Day had 14 carries for 194 yards not sure how many TDs. He also played great on defense. Remember Daylan rarely if ever comes off the field. I guess we found out who the better running back, football player, athlete is.

Milan played a darn good football game tonite. Daylan Walker racked up 194 yards and proved to live up to the hype. Hes an excellent athlete...and I will venture to say Markei Guy is class act! Daylan came out of the game in the 4th quarter and it is said he has food poisoning...After the game coming out of the locker room of Milan.. is Guy helping Walker come out. Markei Guy showed just how much class he has and how much the Westview program means to him.

With no dawg in this hunt (no pun intended), that is a classy act. Maybe a few on this board could learn a lesson. Boths teams are deserving of what they have accomplished this season. Westview's turn around is remarkable and Milan's perserverance shows everyone what you can do. Good luck to Milan and congratulations to Westview. Also, the true Region champ is listed in the record book as Westview.
