with 6 of the 7 teams making the playoffs this season i would have to say that this region will be very competitive the next few years. obion and dyer county will be a whole lot better next year, covington well nuff said, and ripley that alone would be a good region, then they add crocket, haywood and dyersburg man now thats a great region. travel wise its great also.

I thought Dyer Co would maybe have a chance to finish fourth again or higher but with Dyersburg,Crockett Co,Cov and Brownsville..I don't know....Flowers would have been better off staying at Lake Co rather than keep taking a pounding..They probably would have had a chance at the state this year if he were there...They will have a chance to go next year in Single A while he is sitting at home..

I think that with the players that are coming back next year, Crockett and Covington will be battling it out for the top spot. Good luck CAVS!

Obion Co. has over half of their starters coming back next year including all but one skill position player.Don't let their 2-8 record deceive you.

The Ripley Tigers were a very young team this year which enabled quite a few underclassmen to either start or get some quality playing time. Although we are losing our Senior QB, the kid expected to take his spot next season is an even better QB, from what I've been told. They will be returning many starters both on offense and defense, so they should be ready to make a run next year. At least, I hope so!!
