OK, after rereading his post he said they will not be beat by 3 TDs or held to 14 points. My point is still the same, it can happen. Camden didn't think it would happen to them either. I think it'll be a hard fought game by both teams and I'm pulling for Huntingdon but this is high school football and anything can happen.

GO STANGS

The first time we played huntingdon i thought their defense looked soft. I'm sure that they have fixed some of their problems but there is no way their defense is as good as the carver team that we scored 30 on. I think if were going to win it's gonna come down to our defense stopping donald and weathers. As good as our tackles, ends, linebackers, and saftey are there is no way donald and weathers should have big games.

Are you talking about the Carver defense that was shredded by Dresden? Your probably right. Your def. is awesome. Man, you guys never learn. B)

It looks like the Mustangs have made some adjustments on defense and Milan's O line is still destroying defenses up front. Carver put 9 in the box all night and we still ran all over them. Daylan has found another gear and has become the leader this team has needed all year. He's a 4 year starter who is running better than ever. Blount, he is just a hoss who will flat out run you over.

Weathers and Donald are both awesome backs. Weathers is great at letting blocks develop and is sneaky strong. Donald is a great blocker as well as a great runner.

I predict another Thanksgiving week classic.

Camden was also a tough 11-1 team and look what happened to them.  The game in Huntingdon wasn't a back and forth game with the last team in possession winning.  The Mustangs took charge early and maintained it.  To say that Milan can't lose is ridiculous, any team can lose under the right circumstances...remember the semis last year.

I agree with you blount is a hoss. They are crazy to think they can stop the bull AKA micah blount. If they change there defense to stop him it will be DAY DAY for the TD to the outside. :D milan wear the stangs down win by 10

Turbo your obviously on mansfield's nuts so can you please just respect milan.. they beat yall already face it...milan may not have as much talent anymore and i don't see how you can say coaching isn't involved i mean we did figure out a plan to win. that is why you play the game turbo.. so please reconsider your thoughts cause you HAVE NO CLUE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.....

PEACE!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

yeah, they beat us last year in the season too didnt they? what you do in the season doesnt matter in the playoffs. the team that lost in the regular season is more than likely to get revenge. i say huntingdon will roll all night long. this game will be the battle of defenses and huntingdon's is toughest, which is the way i see it. huntingdon rolls. play huntingdon football - hit somebody.

    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
    • An FYI: To see how an opponent has done against another opponent since 2001- go to the game by clicking on one of the teams. Click the G beside the game. For example, Milan: The info will show you the previous matchups and other info.
    • All these college signees went yo other schools for 3 years, were getting college offers then transferred to Bearden. It’s not like this staff did much to develop them.    The BBall coaches son and the Seymour transfer were some of the most talented QBs in the region, and you guys developed them into QBs who might complete one pass a game.
