The two best 1-A teams are playing this Friday. But I'm sure there are a lot of teams out there that will say that they could have beaten Boyd. Too bad they won't have the chance to try to prove it.

 

These two teams are almost a mirror image of each other. This one will be a great one!

This promises to be slobber-knocking smash mouth football game! Both teams better bring the A game, or this one could get ugly. I haven't seen Boyd this year, but I've watched DCA pound more than one opponent into submission. They'll flat knock the taste out your mouth!

First:

DCA > FRA > FC > BBS

DCA was 41 points better than FRA.

Friendship Christian was 18 better that FRA.

BBS was 28 better than FC.

BBS 46 better than FRA.

BBS 5 better than DCA.

 

Second:

DCA > CPA > GP > BBS

DCA was 21 points better than CPA.

CPA was 14 better than Goodpasture.

DCA was 35 better than Goodpasture.

BBS was 30 better than Goodpasture.

DCA 5 better than BBS.

 

Third:

DCA > Cascade > Watertown > BBS

DCA was 35 better than Cascade.

Cascade was 8 better than Watertown.

DCA was 43 better than Watertown.

BBS was 35 better than Watertown.

DCA 8 better than BBS.

 

Last:

DCA > Ezell > GP > BBS

DCA 37 better than Ezell.

The numbers say BBS by 25. I am more incline to think it is going to be a toss up and the team with the least amount of mistakes wins by a touchdown.

The last analysis actually conflicts itself. Also it fails to realize that DCA starters only played a quarter in the FRA game (Homecoming). I also saw the CPA game. They only played a little over 3 quarters that night. The Ezell game I am told was played in a hurricane, and I'm sure they were pulled early there as well.

 

The DCA coaching staff is a lot more merciful than most. They are quick to pull the dogs (or cats in this case) off when they get a team down. This is something that you don't see enough of.

 

I don't remember Wooden playing in the FRA game and he didn't even dress against Ezell.

I can definately back up what QuickPik says. Poor analysis on Smithke's part.

 

First of all, Boyd wasn't thirty better than GP they were 21 better.

 

DCA barely played any starters more than 3 quarters in the blowouts you mentioned.

 

Wooden, the best back in 1A, didn't even PLAY in a couple of the games you mentioned.

 

And finally, in one little illustration thingie you have DCA as 35 better than GP and GP 3 better than DCA in the other.

This is nonsense - they did not play any common opponents. How can you decide what team is better by a # of points when they never played each other.

 

As for Friday, I am going with DCA to take it in a close game.
