Yes.  Coach Rawlings played college ball at Lipscomb.  Kevin was a heck of a high school point guard.  Many locals feel Kevin was partly responsible for Austin Bates being recruited and playing at Vanderbilt.  Austin loved to shoot and Kevin would feed him the ball.  I believe Kevin also holds the Waverly record for 3-pointers made in a game, so he was an excellent shooter as well.

The record for most three's in a game at Waverly Central High School is held by Kevin Rawlings. He hit 10 against Harpeth in 1995 in the Region Tournament at West End Middle School. Kevin has a great basketball mind and will continue a great legacy started by his father Richard Rawlings who has over 500 wins in a 25+ year carrer.

Coach Turner can be contacted at Waverly Junior High School. He is taking time off due to the birth of their first child.

With the exception of a young team, i think, JC's Gary Flynn is very underrated. The team is so young, and it will take years to rebuild the team. Flynn is a good person and a great coach, and I hope the best for him, and I hope he is given the chance to prove what he can do. given a few years. Coaches cant be judged on in a couple years, in takes years to build a team. Good Luck Coach Flynn.
