Jimmy Clausen and his Oaks Christian team finishes the year (14-0)!

Jimmy Clausen finished the season with 3,618 yards passing and had 58 touchdown passes and only 6 interceptions!

 

Someone on a UT board asked what kind if competition this is against and was told the school would probably be compared to MBA or Brentwood Academy hear in Tennessee.

 

They also have one of the top sophmore runningbacks in the country in Marc Tyler 6'0, 205. He got hurt in the championship game but scored 28 touchdowns this season not sure of his yardage. He is the son of Wendell Tyler the former great UCLA Bruin!

From what I've read about his competition, it seems to be more comparable to a DII-AA type of atmosphere -- nobody prestigious, but a couple halfway decent teams.

 

Still, those numbers are impressive on any level.

I would hope not if he comes to Tennessee for high school ball it would be a big mistake. Why would he leave when during the summer he can work out and throw to college and Pro players?

I am a big recruiting nut especially UT recruiting and he is the best Sophmore QB in the country look at those numbers and if doesn't get injured in in one more year he will probably be the #1 QB recruit in the country.

One of my friends is good friends with Casey Clausen. She called him and he said that Jimmy will probably not be moving to TN to finish his high school career.

Here he is in 2001 at hte UT-UF game with his mom, he kinda looks good in that Jersey! But I hope he has grown alot! thumb

Yea I hope so too....but he was in junior high in that picture.
