She's from East Tennessee. She's a junior at Heritage. She's not only the best player in the state, she's one of the top players in the country. I know people always say it's tough to name a "best player" in the whole state because of the distance between schools and teams, but I'll just say this ... watch her play one time ... you'll be convinced.

 

I'm not just jumping on a bandwagon here ... I've been saying this for the past two years. She plays on my team's biggest rival and she killed us last night and I hated it cause I wanted our girls to win ... but fact is fact. She's one of the best in Tennessee in a long, long time.

 

Oh by the way, her name is Cait McMahan, if you haven't already figured it out.

Not a Heritage fan, but I got to go with GovMan on this one....Cait's the best..hands down. You people in Middle and West TN will get to see what everyone here in the East already knows when she gets Heritage to the 'Boro.

I think ya'll left out Bianca Thomas. She has 219 points in 10 games and is averaging 21.9 points. She also has almost 1500 points in her career and is only a junior.

Pat has needed someone like Cait McMahan for a long time. She will fill the seats and take the Lady Vols to the National Championship when she gets to UT.

you poor fellers must not have taken the trip up to northwest tennessee and sat in the new gym on 99 and 92 state drive and watched a certain ms kayla hudson play baseketball. shes not just playing but she is smoking other teams. when she has a game that other folks call bad by not scoring so much, she is dishing the ball to other team mates. no doubt the best sub 5'5 player in the state in all divisions, and one of the best overall, a true team player that makes everyone on her team better and the ability to create her shot when needed. and shes a sophomore, so i feel bad for folks this year and the next two, cause she wont graduate without a state championship ring. she may even get a pair
