I totally agree with you 100%. Ryan Denney is my boy. Always will be. I know it is hard to take....but they try to get a reaction out of Ryan to throw his game off b/c he is so good. They need him out of sync to have a chance. I hate when things get personal. There is no place for that in my opinion. I am sure that folk that try to harm others by personal attacks out loud...... with no regard for their families in attendance.....obviously have some issues with themselves. I do not condone those kinds of things. Ryan is an outstanding player. He has heart and he has love for his school and for basketball. I admire him totally, and it angers me when he is attacked....breaks my heart. It is good to know there are more Denneys to follow...as I will misss Ryan when he graduates. Now I know I will have another BOY to protect. You tell Ryan >..he is my boy for life.  thumb

Denny has been good against just about everyone but us...and their point guard...Preston Smith...

Oakland[/url'>' date='Jan 11 2005 - 11:14 PM']no matter the year, whos the coach there or how good they are, white county is ALWAYS tough to beat at their place. sparta is a basketball town in its purest form, as close to a real life hoosiers as you will get

You have it right Oakland. White Co. has no movie theater, no bowling alley, no nothing. Basketball is about it. The reserved seats on both sides in the bottom of the gym are about as hard to get as Green Bay Packer seats. Nobody hardly ever gives the things up. Get on the waiting list and wait.

He is no super star by no means, he is just a good story and a great role player who plays hard and is a fan favorite for his style of play. He had rarely seen the floor until this season and he has made the most of it. His numbers have fallen off lately becuase he minutes have declined with the return and increased roles of football players. He does the little things...box out, hit FT's, play D, take the charge, make the extra pass, coachable, ect. But if you are looking for a super star that is not him, but he is a nice peice of the puzzle.

I think RHS needs some more pieces to add to the puzzle...

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
