I thought the Larsen kid from Halls might have been able to sign DI? Also why do you think there are so many kids with local ties going to SEC schools other than U.T.? It sure is nice to go over an watch the Vols play and see some local kids playing. How about that Lockard kid at Halls I hear he is suppose to be pretty good. Where do you thnk he might go? Does Knox Central have any prospects?

Delmonico has a history of no interest in Tennessee kids. He expects to get them for nothing, books etc. He missed out on the best class in recent history (2004). The ones he signed from the 2005 class are likely because of the "Hope" scholarship.

Larson is a fine player and Walters State will develop him into a fine pitcher. They have had more recent players drafted than Tennessee. You must be talking about Jeffery Lockwood of Halls. He is a junior this year and is a good prospect, but we will see how he does this year. I'm sure his family would love to see him at Tennessee. Knoxville Halls will have a very good team this year and shouldn't loose any District 3 games.

Knoxville Central is young and I don't have any prospects from them that I can recall off the top of my head.

Things won't change until Rod is gone. The best college coach in the state is at Vandy.

Ofcourse Rod will stay until his son is a starter for him then he'll move on. I for one am tired of seeing top East TN athlets have to choose other schools in many sports. Sorry situation indeed!

I agree about the best college coach in the state being at Vandy; however, running a close second, due only to time served, is Jeff Forehand at Trevecca.  Prior to Forehand, had the Trojans ever done anything in baseball?  I'd like to see him get a shot at a big-time program.
