I have no idea how Ward is not in the top 20 at least. How many of these kids could hang 36 on the Dragons at Clinton? Ward is a versatile inside outside threat.

How about Shumate from Greenville and Wynder from Cherokee as long as we are including Union Co and Rutledge in the mix.

I don't think Bosse should be that high. The times I've seen Farragut play Huckins has been a lot better than Bosse. Dickinson from Bearden should be in the top 25 somewhere and so should David Geist from CAK.

If ACHS has 3 of the top 30 seniors in the Knoxville area, then should they not win the Region ?

That would make sense if the game was played only by seniors, but the three teams that have beaten AC from the other district in recent years are not senior laden teams. Fulton also has three players on this list, while AE has only one. Besides McCalister who else is a senior for AE? Ligon and Kite are juniors, Anderson and Barrett are sophomores. On Alcoa's team I can't even name a senior. Warren, Lindsay, Lanxter, Stubblefield are all underclassmen....AC has a chance to compete for the region, but they have already been beaten by Alcoa and AE, so obviously AC must play better against these teams. AC has rolled through their district, and has only lost to AAA teams besides Alcoa and AE. They also were the last team to beat a very hot Clinton team.......

 

AC's losses:

AA -- AE, Alcoa

AAA- Powell on a last second shot, Maryville on a last second shot in OT, Halls twice......

Because unlike Greeneville and Rogersville, Rutledge is in the same general area as Maynardville in relation to Knoxville.
