We choose to do it because we want to. Like hamm stated teaching is not a profession to get rich in but you can get rich from all the things you gain from doing it as well as coaching. We all had coaches early on that we admired and wanted to one day be like. We take from the sport so we can give back later.

Regarding athletics and academics. Well correct we do say the grades do come first, but let a school stop winning in athletics, then they start pulling money cause they get tired of spending without seeing any rewards.

Double edged sword cut ya either way ya play, sorta like ###### it ya do and ###### if ya dont. No coach or athlete is ever kepet around if they dont produce, for them in the limelight not in the classroom, that always gets covered up some how. hard to cover up shotty play on the athletic ground.

I'm a wrestler from Maryville College so i guess I've got the club perspective also. The reason I wrestle is to be a part of something that I love and to have that basis of friendships that comes from being part of a team.
