Volunteer Falcons Baseball

HV had a kid tossed last night..........actually when they played at Volunteer they should of had several including a coach!

And they cannot convience me that the kid was not arguing the call. HV argues everything that does not go their way, including pitches.

 

Good win at Hampton.

 

Play two vs. Johnson County tomorrow. Game time is 1:30. JC beat S. East Monday.

HV did have a player tossed at North last night after a tag at third. It was a good call (really wasn't even close). I think the kid was more just upset about getting caught trying to get a triple out of a double and threw his helmet after being called out. He should have been more upset with his third base coach for running them out of a potential good inning than the ump.

Their coaches argued two calls (both had no bearing on the outcome of the game). After the game HV did not shake hands with the Raider players (another great showing of HV baseball sportsmanship) even though there had not been any problem between the two teams. If they had a problem with the umps I think you just avoid shaking hands with them. I overheard someone say they didn't shake hands because the coaches didn't want a potential fight because the HV players were upset after the loss. Well BOO HOO! You know we lost two heated games to HV last week, where the potential for a fight between the teams were very great and we still had the ability and class enough to shake their hands afterwords.

HV is one of the better teams in this conference. It's a good thing that sportsmanship is not included in the standings. thumb

Speaking of NO CLASS, Mr. Buttly Munch, or Monkey bunch or whatever your name is, go somewhere else and play, little boy. This thread is for Falcon fans only.

Yes, well said my good ball sacker. I hear that volunteer plays the chiefs on friday night ,ole chaps. - Heed my advise I wouldn't go b/c the falcons are in for a good feather plucking Good luck b/c u'll need it.
