If these three powerhouses are on one side that means Ooltewah(the dark horse) will run the other side of the brackett and make it to the finals! I believe Cleveland and Bradley will get put out early, just wait.

Brainerd won't beat Cleveland without Cory Sanders. And Bradley is going to take care of Red Bank. McMinn has been playing well lately and will put something on the Owls, and poor Soddy Daisy is gonna have to stop Danny Cumby, which no one can do. District 5 sweep!!!

Monday- Quarterfinals

 

Game 1 - D5 #1- Bradley vs. D6 #4 Red Bank = 5:00 CST (6:00 EST)

 

Game 2 - D6 #1- Ooltewah vs. D5 #4 McMinn County = 8:00 CST (9:00 EST)

 

Tuesday- Quarterfinals

 

Game 3 - D5 #2 Cumberland County vs. D6 #3 Soddy Daisy = 5:00 CST (6:00 EST)

 

Game 4 - D6 #2 Brainerd vs. D5 #3 Cleveland = 8:00 CST (9:00 EST)

 

Thursday- Semifinals

Dream on!!! Ooltewah will most definately not be Region Champs!! Red Bank will not come close to beating Bradley. Brainerd will not beat Cleveland again with or without Corey Sanders. And if Ooltewah is lucky enough to beat McMinn then they better be ready for Cumberland County or they will be done. Ooltewah might make the finals but there is no way they can win it.

And i will 2nd this!!! Soddy cannot and will not stop Dan the Man!! Bradley is Bradley they will blow out RB!! Cleveland will have a good game w/ Brainerd but will pull it out! And McMinn has been playin very well as of late and will beat Ooltewah!! thumb

There's no way McMinn will beat Ooltewah. Sure, they put together a pretty good string of wins at the end of the season, but those were all home games playing against such stiff competition as Meigs County and Rhea County. Give me a break. Let's let this thing play out before you claim that 5AAA will sweep 6AAA. I'll give you the upper hand and say 5AAA probably has more talent and will be the favorites overall, but if the District Tournaments have shown us anything, the favorites don't always win.

 

As for the first round, I'll say Bradley, Ooltewah, Cumberland, and Brainerd pull out the win. I think Cleveland especially will have to look out, even without Sanders this Brainerd team is dangerous and plays with heart, as they already found out twice this season. I'm not so sure about Cumberland and Soddy, but since Cumberland already beat Cleveland and it's their home gym, I think they'll probably pull it out. I wouldn't sleep on this Soddy team either, though.

 

In the end, I really think we'll have some good games. Good luck to all teams.

Man! Did I affend someone? I was stating my opinion, just as ya'll clearly did. I simply said what I thought, so we have different opinions I guess we will have to wait for the games and see?! And these cumberland fans need to calm down, they think their the stuff, and why was the tournament held in crossville and everyone expect crossville has to travel an hour or two away. I hope cumberland brings all 12 of their toothless fans, O and their parents too!

HAHAHA! FUNNY! But Crossville has the best fans bar none!! Get over it...don't hate! And CC has waited for their turn to host just like everybody else so quit whinin about the travel time! They deserve the chance to host just like everybody else!
