Has anyone heard who will replace Coach Freeze at Briarcrest.  I have heard it is going to be either  his assistant, Orr or the girls coach at Harding.  Either would be good, but I think the Harding coach does a great job.

 

What have you all heard?

Either one would be an outstanding selection! They couldn't go wrong with either one. They should hurry up and make it happen.

 

I am shocked that this is the 1st thread about this situation.

Tom Hodges - Ast. coach at UTC Womens Basketball. Worked the past four years as a student ast coach on Bill Worrell staff at Tennessee Tech. Is from Shelbyville and help run shelbyville summer basketball program the past six years.

 

Kevin McMillian - Martin Westview coach. Is one of the top coaches in the state and if they are smart they will check his intrest level.

 

These two coaches are the best two people for the job. I don't see them giving the job to the ast coach or the Harding coach.

Don't expect to see me walking the sidelines at Briarcrest anytime soon. If Briarcrest is smart they will go after Tom Hodges or Kevin McMillian. Briarcrest is top 3 job in the state of TN. These two guys will keep this program going up and will follow very nicely in Hugh Freeze footsteps.

 

HeavyD. I am not worried at all about losing my bet to you. I will make sure we play atleast three times this spring/summer and I will have my kids ready. I am sure that Latoya is going enjoy helping me win a steak dinner off you and your sidekick McMillian :D:lol::lol:

I've also heard it was a coach of one of the all girls schools. That's either St.Agnes, Hutchison, or St. Mary's. Lassendrello has been at St. Agnes a while, I seriously doubt its the St. Mary's coach, great school lousy b-ball. Who is the coach at Hutchison? Just an overheard rumor from the region tourney. Not a reliable source. But I guess that's what this thing is, runors.

Hutchinson's coach is Ronnie Robinson (sp?), and he played at Rhodes. He is an excellent coach with marginal talent at Hutchinson. He would be a good catch if he is interested.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.

      Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
