In the 2nd qtr., Page outscored CC, 10-7, as Bagsby had 4 with 2 of 2 FT's, both Harmon and L. Young each had 2, and K. Young hit 2 of 2 FT's while CC's Hunter hit a three and both Attebery and Banes each had 2 as Page led at the half, 18-17. In the 3rd qtr., CC outscored Page, 18-10, as Attebery had 13 with a three and hit 2 of 3 FT's, Batts hit a three, and Banes had 2 while Page's K. Young hit a three, Bagsby, Harmon, and Morton each had 2, and Bowling hit 1 of 2 FT's as CC led after 3 qtrs., 35-28. In the 4th qtr., CC outscored Page, 14-11, as Attebery hit 5 of 7 FT's, Banes had 5 with 3 of 4 FT's, both Batts and Hunter each hit 2 of 2 FT's, and Kelsey Forsythe was 0 of 2 FT's while Page's K. Casey Attebery's performance proved to be the difference in the game, especially in the 3rd qtr. with her 13 pts. and also had 4 assists for the game. Kristen Banes played well on the inside with her 13 pts. and 5 rebs. Nicole Bagsby did well for Page with 14 pts., 9 rebs., and 2 assists and Kayla Young also did well with her 10 pts. including 2 threes, but Page's 15 turnovers to Cheatham's 10 gave them the advantage along with Page's missed shots underneath. Congratulations Cheatham Co. on a game well played in spite of the absence of Abby Lawson.

Good game, glad to see Atteberry and Banes taking charge. I really hope Lawson is not out for the season, she makes a huge difference in Cheatham's team. Good Luck Cheatham keep focused for Wednesday!

Cheatham County struggled out of the gate offensively. This team is a team that has had to make a lot of adjustments over the last 3 weeks or so. With Morehead being ruled ineligible and now with the absence of Lawson due to injury, the LadyCubs are still finding ways to get the job done and put up the W's. Attebery stepped up her game as she did last year in postseason play. The Lady Cubs will now move on to play the winner of Giles Co./Montgomery Central on Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 in the semifinals of the region 5AA tournament.

Very funny neely. Don't worry - Page AD Robin Carter has obtained official rosters for all teams in the tournament. She is a "by the rules" type of person and I'm sure everything is on the up and up and will remain that way.
