David Lipscomb vs CSAS

Congrats to Lipscomb. There depth definitely helped them pull it out in the fourth quarter. They were coached well and played great defense. I really didn't like their coach though. I didn't think it was legal for him to violently throw his players to the line to be subbed in. I really thought he hurt a couple of his players. I know you want to be intense, but it was a bit too much. Despite all of that they were still a good team who just outplayed CSAS. Also, someone tell me why Rodney Marsh is not one of the most talked about players in Chattanooga. I know he doesn't have the height, but he is the most incredible athlete I've seen all year. The only thing I can figure out is that he's so quiet. He comes across as a humble guy whose not going to get in your face after making incredible shots.

He plays for CSAS thats no one talks about him for some reason no one ever gives CSAS any respect even though they are one of the most consistent programs in Chattanooga

He does not hurt his players, you've just got know Coach P. First, he went to Lipscomb University and played baseball under Coach Dugan, the Vince Lombardi of the baseball world. Also, we don't kiss at Lipscomb, it being a Christian school and all, so touching by pushing his players to the line is his way of showing affection....its the Pickens version of Lipscomb Love.

Pickens is just like 95% of the coaches out there. He loves his players. He does get intense. I think I know the situation being referred to, and had to suppress my laughter as P decided against sending in Rob Mallernee, who probably weighs a buck and a quarter soaking wet. Looked like Rob's feet came off the floor.

He and his teammates were giggling like girls about it on the bench. Definitely no injuries, nor any harm intended.

Lipscomb Love. If that was love I'd hate to see what he looks like when he gets mad.

No one is whining genious I was answering a question, and how in the world was CSAS ranked in the state before the season started when the rankings did not even come out until January. Also just to prove my point even more this senior class class at CSAS averaged twenty wins a year they were never ranked. CSAS has not been ranked in the state since 1994. The 1998 team that went to the sub state won twenty one games was never ranked in the state as a matter of fact there were picked to come in second in their district and picked to lose in the first round of the region, so as I was saying earlier CSAS really has never gotten any respect until this year

You are right they played great defense but I am sorry everyone that was not at the game who I tol that stat  to asked me how that ws possible o play full court man-to-man the whole game and only pick up eight team fouls that is almost impossible to do

Ya'll gotta know what was going on. Lipscomb wasn't playing the all out full court man ya'll are making it seem like. It wasn't like they had a defender on the ball pressuring the fire out of him up and down the court. Lipscomb most of the time allowed CSAS to catch and they would simply turn the PG until he got to half court. Other times, Lipscomb would deny the ball and make it harder for CSAS to get the ball in.
