BEST BUSH LEAGUE COMMENT YOU'VE HEARD

I think it is bush when there is a runner on 3rd and they act like they are going to steal home every pitch with the third base coach yelling go to get the balk. A good one i heard this weekend was "Next time punt the ball it will get there faster." Speaking of bush Hendersonville a couple of years ago was by far the most bush league team i had ever seen. Lining up along the foul line when the other team is taking infield and talking trash to them is very bush.

When a baserunner gets his lead and starts clapping his hands at the pitcher. Looks pretty bush league...

"Waterboy, grab a stick" -shelling the pitcher

"He's coming open, better zip him up" -a pitcher that is opening his front side too much, thus throwing high balls

"FLOOD IT!" -the pitcher needs to flood the strike zone with lots of strikes

"Get him some water!" -the pitcher is throwing LOTS of balls (in reference to flooding the strike zone)

"Come on Bernie!" -umpire making horrible calls

I was at a Montgomery Central game and the Harpeth 3rd base coach would not stay in his box so a fan shouted "Come on Blue!, We dont have enough money to resead that whole area"

hey blue! just cause they call it a plate dont mean its round ! yer missin a good game , after an error ,kick it agin pele, foller it around and see what it eats....to a crying pitcher, get a tin cup and beg! after a coach hollers about a call, i cant belive it either ! to the skinny pitcher, who put a uniform on the fungo?

hENDERSONVILLE is probably the most bush league team out there. the funny thing is they are a good team and they dont need to do some of those tactcis they do such as...coach calls time to talk to pitcher they sit down in the dugout when coach leaves thay all stand up and start clapping and cheering NOW THAT IS BUSH LEAGUE they did win the game so that is what counts

Several from way back:

1. About a slow runner, someone puts up one hand similar to the tomahawk chop, aligns it with the runner and asks the fans, "Is he moving?".

2. When a team is obviously not hitting the ball:

"My dead Grandmother can hit better than that!".
