Joe Lackey is NOT 6'11".  He is probably closer to 6'8".  IT is amazing how guys suddenly grow 2 or more inches when they go into a game program.  Heck, Charles Barkley was listed at 6'8" until the NBA measured him at 6'4 1/2.

I know nothing about this Ezell-Harding team, but I have seen this CAK team play several times and they are very talented with great shooters and a great inside game. I am gona go with CAK in this one.

SG #22- Carl Gettis, 6'1", great driver, hits the open 3, really quick, great D

PF #32- Chris Blackburn, 6'4", great rebounder, good counter for Lackey, great D

PG #1 Pitto 5"10 - Likes to push the ball up the floor, he's deceptivley quick, he can shoot the 3 well.

 

SG #2 Duke 6"1 - Best all around player, can shoot the 3 or drive, either way he's hard to guard.

 

G #22 Gettis, 5"9 - Very quick guard, usually only looks for layups, he is prone to get easy fouls (reaches in alot) Cries to officials alot, complainer

 

G/F #32 Blackburn 6"0 - Stocky kid, plays mostly guard on "O" but will guard other teams 3+4 men. Good role player and can knock down the 17ftr.

 

C #30 Lackey 6"8 - Likes to block shots, Will shoot almost everytime he touches. Good rebounder. Anyone in A ball that is this tall is good.

bigAsports, you nailed this one. Pitto is quick and shoots very,very long 3's. Duke is good, Gettis likes to drive but walks almost everytime. Lackey is BIG. He should hit 2's from the paint.

 

I do not know anything about CAK but I will be rooting for District 9 EH.

cak is a pretty fast team, with some great 3-point shooters.  Their offense revolves around their big man, Chris Novikoff.  If he gets it on the inside he will normally score, unless he is double teamed and he will kick it back out to one of the three point shooters.

They're not just great 3-point shooters. They're great all round shooters. They can burry it from just about anywhere on the floor. That's what makes them so good. Most people want to focus on their big guy, Novikoff, but when you do that they're shooters will make you pay.

CAK is normally a fast break team and will run when they get the chance. However, if they need to take the ball back out and set up a play, they will. But normally they like to play an up-tempo type game, as you can see with some of their scores throughout the season.

I'm wondering what assumption it was that he made that you find so stupid. He made no assumption, all he said was he was going with CAK. Also, if he was playing dumb to the fact that he doesn't know anything about Ezell then he would be acting like he knows all about Ezell, not stating that he doesn't know anything about them. I noticed earlier that you refered to someone as a fool because they picked their team to win in a basketball game. You are a fool because you can't understand simple english. In trying to insult other people for no reason you have successfully showed everyone who reads this thread that you are an ignorant nobody. Should be a good game. The Novikoff vs. Lackey matchup should be a good one to watch, and I can't imagine how many shots will be made from downtown. I'm not going to make a prediction except that it's going to be absolute insanity.

Wow. Either EH must not teach their students to spell or this guy has really bad keyboarding skills. Either way, what in the world is he talking about? It sounds like to me EH is freaking incredible if they can win 6 state championships in 5 years (maybe he meant all sports). I guess CAK better not show up.
