I'm not sure how this will effect the basketball team. I guess it all depends on how the 18 year olds are charged. There were about 5 football players that got picked up. My son was there but was released without any issues. Gonna be an interesting season to say the least. Randy had a meeting with all the players. Duff is not happy to say the least.

Well, good luck Par. As SS said, there's a lot worse things they could've done. Use it as a learning experience. Hope it all works out.

No point in dragging kid's names who make a mistake through the press. How is that news or message board worthy? Hope everything works out for all involved.

I haven't mentioned ANY names.  The above article takes care of the 18 yr olds and all the minors are nameless unless you hear about it from someone.  I'm actually suprised that it wasn't made into something more then it was.

Sometimes the rumors are better then the actual events.

Wasn't talking to anyone particular. Just thought the link was unnecessary. Would rather protect the kids. 17 or 18 years old, they are still HS kids. Saw your son tonight. He was bragging about his passing game. Proud of him.

Thanks, he's happy. He's 6'4" now. Need to get him above 200lbs. He really loves Football but Randy needs him to play this year.

Most definitely one of the top in ET.

I think so, too. I love his defensive game. I'd like to see his offensive game improve a bit, but with what we have he doesn't really have to be real good on offense. Just needs to be a good defender and a good passer and get the ball to our weapons on offense. If he did develop a real good offensive game it would make us all the more dangerous.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
