Gibbs @ Halls

The Eagles are coming off a hard fought overtime loss to Clinton last Friday while Halls lost to perennial 3AAA power Oak Ridge.

The Eagles have upped the ante with a little vandalism at Halls.

Can the Eagles get it done this Friday or does Red Nation avenge the vandalism and recent gridiron losses it has suffered at the hands of the War Eagle?

Gibbs will win this one with a more balanced attack then they have shown so far, while keeping true to the Triple Option. Gibbs has not thrown much but when they do, it is effective. I still look for a 150+ yard rusher in this game. Brendan Wilson (SB) will be just to much for Halls.

The defense can and will get after the Halls backfield with a improved line, lead by the Memphis recruit (defensive end) Hunter Lane and Defensive POW nominee Dalton Rodgers.

The Halls / Gibbs rivalry goes way back. Halls through the years have dominated the series. Look for Gibbs to be hungry, to be the only team in Gibbs history to beat Halls Back to back while doing it in definitive fashion.

    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
