Who is coaching at Scott county now? I heard their coach went to Alcoa to take over that program next year.

Jordan Jeffers is the new coach.  Coached at Sunbright and played at Scott County.  Jared Laverdiere took an assistant coaching position at Alcoa.

Next two weeks will be big. Alcoa taking on Catholic and CAK this upcoming week and then Friday the 13th CAK travels to Catholic. Expecting some very exciting games in 4AA.

Catholic looks like the best team in Knoxville right now.

Its still wide open though. Alcoa has loooked impressive playing against a competitive nondistrict schedule. CAK is dealing with injuries and they've played a tough schedule as well. Catholic still has some key players out with injuries, with that being said, until someone in 4AA can beat CAK, they're still the team to beat in the district. Edited December 31, 2016 by QSouth89

Catholic wins district. Everyone else playing for second. Should also win region and easily advance to the state. They are loaded. If this team doesn't make it to the state tournament it would be a major disappointment. On the lines of the footballs teams failure to win the state.

Catholic is playing very solid basketball right now especially considering they've been down a starter all year. Great PG play, solid shooting from the 2 and Jancek may be the best big in the area. Every one is playing their roles in the starting line-up and getting good bench support. CAK and Alcoa have played tough competition which should have them ready. Let's go!

 

Fulton will be ready by tourney time and getting through the region won't be a cake walk. CAK and Alcoa are dangerous teams. Don't think the basketball team is near the favorite that the football team was.

I saw them destroy Bearden. Catholic. Is very very good. Big post is/will be the difference maker at tourney time.
