Dtown364
Moving on......it's the Lions vs the Yellow Jackets & its senior night. I'm sure not ready for this special group of seniors season to end anytime soon.
Guest hevyrevy1611
Still got unfinished business this year. Going for 15 in '16. It won't be easy, but it'll be worth it. If this team gets the gold, they'll be bound up as teammates forever. Go Lions!
GCPioneer
Greenfield's QB has an impressive passing ability... but outside of him, there's not much there. I would be interested to see what he could do with a offensive core around him. He is actually one of the more impressive QB's in the area if you overlook the dropped passes and the situations he is put in. Dresden SHOULD be sitting all starters after halftime. footballover
Is Jones a freshman or soph? Ive seen him play in jr high. How does he throw the ball?
lionsupport
Is Jones a freshman or soph? Ive seen him play in jr high. How does he throw the ball? sophomore. More of a runner than passer but he can sling it just inaccurate. Very good athlete.
ysoangry
Should be a good game to rest the majority of the starters and get them ready for the playoffs. Nothing against Greenfield but they just don't have the depth or talent to keep this close even against the JV squad. Jones should see a complete games worth of action the next two weeks and let Dresser heal up. Weakley County should look deeply into consolidation soon. Wont ever happen with the current administration but from financial burden on county it should be done.
BigSwo
Lions by a ton. I agree with yso. Some of these smaller schools need to consolidate. I don't believe it will happen but it should.
Guest hevyrevy1611
Uhmm... been in all kinds of schooling situations, various sizes, attending board meetings, writing newspaper articles on this topic, etc., Plus have listened to pros & cons of this issue as a parent, teacher, and even administrator. Me? I am not a fan of consolidation, not even a lil bit. Smaller size, local community schools are the way to go imho. Also true for churches. Smaller with lots more of them is better than a few isolated giant sized ones. Interesting that at Tower of Babel and also at First Church of Jerusalem right after Pentecost, the people in both cases wanted to stick together and form megasized entities. In both cases God said to scatter into small local groups, they didn't, so He forced them too anyways...(for what that's worth). Now as far as this game goes, it'd be a tough call for a coach imo. I think our QB not too badly hurt. Nor are the other players. They'll all prob be ready. But do they get some time off anyways to heal any residual soreness, or no time off to avoid getting "rusty"? Play O-line staters whole game with reserve skill players in? Who plays, who don't? I not much of an analyst, or strategist, but I will trust coaches & staff to make right decisions. He's been in these situations since school days so for sure he knows more than I do about all this (& more than most). So I'll cheer our team & coaches on whoever is out there. Pork chops Pork chops, greasy greasy, We gonna beat y'all Easy Easy!... Watermelon Watermelon Watermelon Rind, Look at the scoreboard & see who's behind! ... Gimme a Cheer! (CHEER!) Gimme another Cheer! (CHEER) Gimme another Cheer! (CHEER) Whaddya got? ...??... CLEAN CLOTHES!

Do you realize how backwoods you make the whole Dresden fan base look? We already get talked about for our hog pens. 😂😂😂 Hehe. It's all in fun. Suueee- ey! Suueee-ey! btw, If anyone is seriously prejudiced or antagonistic towards me, us, or anyone for that matter, honestly it only reveals the sad, tragic condition of their hearts & attitude, and says zilch, zip, zero, nada, nyet, nothing about the object(s) of their derision. At least this dumb 'ol hick from the sticks surmises thusly. Ya know, bro?

Do you realize how backwoods you make the whole Dresden fan base look? We already get talked about for our hog pens. 😂😂😂 I recall first time I experienced being "downwind" when we moved here in 2010. Ha. I didn't know about those pens. I was thinking a sewage pipe burst, or stadium was near a lagoon. Oh wow... it IS an experience. And it's an edge for home side. About like playing in Denver. Homers get used to it, visitors aren't. Should consider having giant fans on other side of farm blowing toward visitor stands. Ha. And special air ducts going from pens into visitor locker rooms, only turned on when their team in there. ROFL. Dtown364
Hoping we can drop the Vikings thread & the argument over whether or not our starters played in the 4th qtr & look ahead to our next victim, I mean opponent. How many players does Greenfield have this year & who are the playmakers to watch?
