Interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on 6A WB and Heritage administration not scheduling (3A) in county rival Alcoa.

 

What example does it set for the kids and the community?

What message does it send to their students?

How does it impact the overall gate?

Will the schedule them in other sports?

 

What does it say about their confidence in their programs?

Saving embarrassing losses to a little ole 3A school.  Ought to play in-county schools, big time $$$$ games.

Why should they?  I believe both will be in 6A with plenty of opportunities to schedule other teams.

If I were in their shoes, I would've done this years ago. The two schools that are actively taking your players, no reason to play them. It is kind of like nobody wanting to play Catholic in this area, although I am not saying those two are as bad as Catholic, but they have still recruited the WB and Heritage kids for years.

Well...I am sure your opinion may be different if you pull a kid out of Alnwick or A&M to send your kid to Alcoee when A&M, in particular, is getting better.

I can see both sides of it at this point.

BC scrolls can obviously get a bigger gate with Loudon......or Greenback.

I would think playing a good team like Alcoa would help the Blount Co. schools later on down the road in the playoffs.

Porter Academy used to be in Maryville and moved to Wildwood. Now a lot of you California types call Wildwood - Porter. I bet you call Lanier, Lanier?
