AlcoaBasketball
Coach Meadows has built up and injected life into five different programs, including Alcoa (guided Tornadoes to 2000 state championship). He definitely improved the Pigeon Forge football program, so hopefully they'll keep it going where he left off. He's proven himself a winner at virtually everywhere he's been. He and his family have been through a lot over the years. Wish him all the best.

AlcoaBasketball
Before anyone hates on Meadows too much for all the moves he made (family related), don't forget that he revived Alcoa from mediocrity and led them to a state title in his first season, helping set up the run that followed. The pics above are from the 2000 state championship when Alcoa beat Union City.
BarneySox2007
I know Scott and his wife personally and I hope him only the best. I wish more people knew him like I do. He is a great friend and I have to say I was saddened to see him decide to step down from coaching.

I too hate to see him go.

AllRegion
I cannot say enough good things about Scott Meadows. Those that choose to say negative things do NOT know the man and father and husband that he is. It breaks my heart to hear that he is having health issues. On the field, he's a winner...but off it, he's a great person. He is generous and caring, and it's a shame that more players won't get a chance to be coached by him in the future.

volsrock
coach meadows has won everywhere he has been and that is a rare thing among coaches. He is a class individual who seems to get the most out of his kids where every he goes. Hopefully this is not the last we have heard from him. Good luck coach in everything.
