Dalon was on my 2017 Region 1 Allstars team and recently backed out. He's been working with Junior Hernandez for awhile and is legit. I wouldn't be so quick to think they're going to leave Knoxville though, they're not like others who think they're headed for greener pastures out of the county.

The A/AA guy I feel have the best chance coming in as Freshmen. Grey Carroll and Jacob Stamper will both place at Alcoa next year as Freshmen, book it... Skidmore and Foreman could make some noise next year for Pigeon Forge too, but they're not quite on the two from Alcoa's level.

interesting

Nothing too shocking here really. Dayne has been with Wave Wrestling from the start and is focused on wrestling so CBHS is the obvious choice. His older brother Tate was also a Wave Wrestling product but ended up at Bolton for a few reasons, particularly because he wanted to play baseball as well and that would have been tough for him at CBHS.

Has he been to Mirons yet? That's a great room. Very different style than most but you can't argue with Mirons results, especially for the international styles.

According to Eli King's parents , Eli King trained with Miron for 3 years and won tulsa etc while training there.  Sounds like Miron gets results

It is a good room for sure. Miron believes in a lot of hard drilling. A typical day would be 3 sessions totaling 6 hours of which maybe 40-60 minutes was actual live wrestling, the rest is hard drilling.

Most kids seem to loose focus with that much drilling so don't go back. The results show for the ones that do though.

Miron suggests one weekend a month for out of state kids, he says one summer camp a year isn't enough time to pick up the system

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
