I tend to lean more towards Hoganknows assertion that busing killed MNPS rather than size. Public high schools fin Metro range from 6A down to 3A ( as far as football classification). In other words,

Been kinda quiet. You would think if you fired someone you would have your man already waiting in the wings.

That only applies to someone getting a divorce, LOL. You are giving Metro credit for actually knowing what they are doing. I have heard next coach has ties to where current admin comes from, Baltimore.

Things have been quiet about all three current metro openings. Stratford is rumored to already have their coach. I've heard nothing about whites creek. Antioch was rumored to be giving job back to former coach but no official moves made. Spring practice is around the corner. You would think something would be done by now.

You would think,but then you would be wrong, LOL.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
