He just picked up his first offer from Virginia Tech, and I’m sure more to come. It's going to be a really fun season this year. I was doubtful when we lost two superstars, which will still hurt, but this kid has a lot of potential. He also ran a 4.49-yard, recorded 40-yard dash at a VT camp. I don't want it to seem like I'm hyping him up too much, especially since he hasn't even played in a Bearden uniform yet, but for his freshman season in 7A, one of the hardest divisions in the state. In the 7 games he played, he went 78/165 (47%) with 1,135 passing yards and 10 passing TD’s while playing on one of the worst teams in the state. On the other hand, he’s coming into a team with one of the best offensive minded head coaches in the state, and playing for one the best offensive coordinators in the area. With three current receivers with division one offers and the other two with power five offers, I’m sure that will only grow as the season gets closer, also handing the rock off to one of the best running backs in the state and potentially the nation, and well, yes, the o line is definitely a big question, but with what he did with the hand he was dealt at his previous school. I’m not too worried about it.
I was told he didn’t do much of any coaching, if at all. But he could get the players in. That’s half the battles these days. He was dumb when he made that schedule. He could’ve had more wins playing different programs
