  1. Past hour
  2. He can’t be great if the other private/recruiting schools didn’t want em
  3. I just have seen you seeming to defend the upside down backwards wearing visor coach so I thought you were one of them. but I do wonder if that QB will stay now. How does Keith still have a job after being named?
  4. Coach Egghead will end up like Humpty Dumpty when it’s all said and done
  5. You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden. Lol. I don't think so. But my point was who can blame a kid for not wanting to be in a private school. Nobody is zoned for a private school, it's a free country right?
  6. Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
  7. You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
  8. Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive. Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
  9. Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football. If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there. The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players. The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school. He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
  10. Yeah, the grandmother part is pretty weird, but the athletic director definitely cares, and that’s been shown with the girls basketball team. He hired the right coach, and now they’re moving in the right direction. It’s just that the school won’t give any extra funding for coaches that a private school should usually have.
  11. Wow, you exposed a grandmother? Way to go tough guy. Nobody wants to play at a place where nobody cares. And at TKA NOBODY CARES!
  12. I am not familiar with Coach Egghead, but I admire him for taking on this challenge. Talk about an uphill climb.
  13. None of that in the valley. Coach Egghead is going to have a rough go about
  14. Today
  15. Looks like everybody's favorite dad is on the move again. Mount Juliet, BA, LIpscomb, Ensworth and now some lucky(?) school in Carolina as the "preacher" has taken a job with the Carolina Panthers. His snow continues to fall.
  16. Before this gets out of hand like last time .. seriously guys who is top candidates??? Do they go outside the box or hire from with in??
  17. I’ve known a few players who went through TKA, and the only problem is the line, like athletes up there are easy to come by. There’s been great athletes came through TKA. It’s just they can never find a line and the ones they do aren’t that good.
  18. Pretty sure it’s the school he is zoned for, but TKA wasn’t sure if they were going to have a football team this upcoming season, like a months ago. A lot of the good players hit the hay, mainly to GP, but a few went to Concord, which is a school in Knoxville, making a lot of questionable promises, and the rest just went back home to places like Clinton, South Doyle, Seymour, etc.
  19. Barn like enny organeyezashun ewe ere correck.....And we haiv haid a lott ov diminishin' reesults reecentlee....
  20. Any idea how Trinity looked yesterday?
  21. Looks like this is going to be their reward.
  22. I think it’s ####. Hard to build a program when other schools with plenty of players are poaching your players. Webb & West took a few the last few years from TKA. The pos grandmother of the kid who left for West tried to lie & use race as an excuse for why he left. I backed her sorry butt down at a football game real quick & exposed her
  23. Mancoverage sez: I bet it’s a tough scene in Trousdale County this morning. The Goat sez: I bet Snoball is crying like a baby over his Yeller Jackets today.
  24. I do know some. Just being nice. It starts at the top though.
  25. The term blue collar was first used in reference to trades jobs in 1924, in an Alden, Iowa newspaper. The phrase stems from the image of manual workers wearing blue denim or chambray shirts as part of their uniforms.
  26. Brackets have been posted. At Eagleville: South Pitt vs Oakdale, and Eagleville vs Union City At Rockvale: Halls vs University School JC, and Gordonsville vs McKenzie
