  1. I know it's been discussed on the T before, but OR has a major real estate problem, and that isn't easy to fix. My kids will start school in a year, and I would love to move to OR for their education (plus, an easy commute for me). Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of houses in the city limits are very old, and the only on-going real estate development is in West OR where there is very little infrastructure and the prices are at or above Hardin Valley/Farragut comps. I love working in Oak Ridge, SS, but good luck trying to attract young families with such a challenging problem.

  3. https://www.wvlt.tv/home/headlines/7604337.html Here is a story that still Haunts me.If any one had the right to go off this man and his family did but they let justice do the job. They tortured and raped this poor girl and stuffed her in a trash can and let her suffocate while they raped and burnt her boyfriend. No riots.Media attention?Yes but NO WHERE on this scale. Yes the officer is a murderer and he deserves all he gets! But all this rioting and burning good gracious.Southtowner is right they have these nut sacks that are paid to instigate these situations.

  4. Agreed. Tennessee school liability law is very much based on the concept of "forseeability". Meaning schools cannot be held liable when "unforseen" events take place but, when there is clear evidence that something could possibly occur then schools can be held liable. If a student contracted covid-19 in March because of the lack of social distancing while at school that was unforseen. Now flash forward to August. A school district has students return to school and cannot guarantee social distancing and a student contracts covid-19. This was "forseeable" and thus the school district can be held liable. Unless offered relief from covid-19 liability torts on the state level I think that most schools will remain online due to liability as well as safety concerns.

  5. I understand the frustration but should Clarksville Montgomery county's decision to not allow small group workouts in June affect the entire state? Should one school district decide not to play does that mean no one plays?
