Bad enough that a team gets to host their own state tournament but they shouldn't have walk up music & strikeout sound effects unless they do it for all the teams..Should be ran as a neutral site.

Stewarts Creek is in the tourney and aren't playing at their own field. I'll go on record as saying this should never happen at the state tournament. At least the championship is played elsewhere.

TSSAA could care less about anything but themselves. Sad deal. Reminds me of another governing body we are dealing with.

Game is final. Gordonsville moves on. No more games today. They are deciding how to proceed.

We shall see my friend, but I see Rossview winning the team duals again with Knoxville Gibbs being close behind. Clarksville, Tullahoma & Cleveland should be good too but each of them lost some seniors who won a ton of matches. Cleveland does have some young talent coming up though from the middle school as does Maryville. The Maryville girls fielded one of the youngest teams in the state with mostly Freshman/Sophomore and in 2 years they will be really tough to beat if they can hold onto everyone.

I'm honestly shocked fewer people are publicly shaming Powell's coach for being an absolute sleezbag. This dude knew his kid threw over 105 pitches. He KNEW it. And once he figured he could actually get away with it, he even altered the game film to fit the story. Guy has absolutely no integrity, and I wouldn't want my child being led by a man with such little character.

Speaking of TSSAA not making sense, the tournament draw is done in private. It’s not broadcasted and there is no school representative at the draw. The only reason I can think that they do it this way is because they are doing something they don’t want everybody to see.. like making the Eagleville side of the bracket easy.

Just don't go hiding from Dyersburg again this year. That was shameful.
