Don’t sleep on Huntingdon! Return 3 starters and a 6’ 2” Center who will be really good next season!

That’s pretty narrow minded. It’s not just about winning championships. So much to be proud of for teams to be consistently successful year after year and having chances to compete on big stage.

Thank you coaches, wrestlers and fans who came out to Harpeth High School yesterday. We had 58 schools and clubs represented. I saw to outstanding wrestling from our boys and girls. It was also great to see some old friends and share some great stories. Thanks to the 6 TSSAA officials who were able to come and call the matches for us. Hope to see everyone again real soon.

Rumor has it that she has the most amazing choir director and mentor.

Should have called his last game a bit sooner! It was rough. I wanted to mute it several times. My favorite part was she asked him a question about one team and he starts answering the question about the other team. I am sure he was good once. Just not his best this weekend.

Congratulations to the Pickett County Lady Bobcats on their 6th all-time State Championship! This team was fun to watch and played with great composure throughout the year, especially the State Tournament.

Pickett County was solid. Very fun team to watch.

LOL if that was LA or WC that beat them, I can assure you the reaction wouldn't have been cheers.

A couple of quick comments... 1) The Lady Trojans were hammered by food poisoning. Four players and two coaches were sick. To pull this one off under the circumstances was unbelievable. 2) As I left the arena the Upperman bus was on the lot near the gathering of Dyersburg fans. When the Lady Trojans exited the Murphy Center, Upperman cheered and blew their bus horns in celebration of the first state title for Dyersburg. I mentioned earlier that I stayed in the Upperman team hotel this week. I have so much respect for your coach, staff, and student athletes. They were incredible ambassadors for your school and community.

Have you ever heard of James Stovall or Demarco Stovall? Most likely not according to your answer.

Congrats to Dyersburg on their first gold ball. Congrats to all of these teams for making I to the Glass House. Big accomplishment.

Wasn't trying to make anyone look good or bad...like I said, it doesn't matter if it was exactly the way Reitz's source said (nothing wrong with it) but it just so happens that DC inquired about the job, then got back in the mix at the right time a couple of weeks later. Nothing underhanded either way, and certainly not trying to make Milan look bad...everything I heard about their admin was just rumor from the public, and that usually ranges from not exactly how it is to unbelievably wrong.

No one in the state was going to touch BC and no one will touch them next year. It wasn’t officials it was a talent difference.

I see one pop up and close it out. They haven't been a problem for me. How do you suggest he pay to continue Coacht without the ads? I am sure it isn't cheap to run this site. I will deal with the ads in order to continue having the site.

What happened with the organization of that game was an absolute travesty. An absolute embarrassment.

No disrespect to SGC, but we were without a key player at that game. And it was Homecoming. And the district was already wrapped. Context is critical.

I felt entering yesterday that the winner of Dburg/South Side would get Upperman in the Final. Sticking with that prediction.

The 2 semifinal games won’t be very competitive imo. Upperman will beat SG by 20+. And if Dyersburg can hold their composure and not get rattled for spurts they will do the same. Still shocked by the scene in the south side Dyersburg game. Hope those refs are held accountable. Who can blame South Side coach for being upset with having to tell them he was in the bonus and having to argue over how many fouls a girl had or what the score was. Hopefully he gets heard from the powers that be in TSSAA.

I agree unacceptable to lose control of the game like that. We had a discussion on a different thread a while back about bookkeeping and the effects it possibly has. My question is why doesn’t T$$AA put someone down there with a ref shirt to keep the book from Sectionals on? Put the younger refs and pay them! Maybe they will learn something while there! I never understood that while someone is keeping up with the stats already on the big screens. No doubt it messed the flow up in that game, not saying SS would have won, but those techs were tough to overcome.

That was unacceptable to be going on at the state tournament. Not sure what all was going on but the game was stopped multiple times to meet with the book keepers. Scores being corrected. Foul numbers were wrong. Can’t blame McNeil for being irritated. And when he was Td up the ref that did it was completely across the floor. Just a terrible situation.

From what I saw York made adjustments and McMinn kept doing what they did in the first half, gotta credit York for making plays too!

Yeah then you don’t force the pace they played right into Yorks hands!

Maybe we can get @Bucksfan to return with his former Saints coaches CJP & CCP and run special teams.
