Looking like Santa fe Richland Wayne Co Collinwood Culleoka Hampshire Still some games to be played but I dont see it changing from where its at now. Pretty sure the first 2 get a bye for tourney but not sure how the rest goes if anyone has input

Richland beats Santa fe in the 2nd meeting. Fayetville drops one to Moore.. looks like district 10 is in order as most expected. How do the district 9 teams look against them coming into the region tourney ?

Trey Luna - Sr Guard from Richland I don't have a ton of stats for this kid. I know he's averaging 22.0 ppg currently but I watch a lot of basketball in middle tn and he is def one of the best this season. I'd put him up there with Groves from ER and Strong from Clay. If he was 6'5" everyone would know him

Seems pretty clear right now. After City it’s just a mess in this one . At this point it would not be a shock to see of them finish 2nd. (That’s not a good thing) Huntland looks to be playing 2v5 Cornersville has just forgotten how to win all of a sudden Eagleville has been a shocker (only 3 wins) no clue about MC still

Was good to see them finish. I think Richland is better than their record for sure. 3 of the 5 losses were without their leading scorer . 2 of the 5 without 3 starters.. That Richland / Santa Fe matchup could be a good one . Don’t see anybody else in this region playing with those 3 teams

Looks like it’s gonna be a fun district schedule, who wins the regular season title? Richland looks to be getting better each week recently defeating Summertown and falling to Loretto by only 3. I would say almost exactly like your prediction thus far. I've seen City, Eagleville,Huntland,and Moore Co play. City by far is the best team, Eagleville i think will end up behind them. After that it gets a little fuzzy. Cornersville has looked good at times but just dropped to 10A Hampshire.. Huntland has a couple guards that can go. Moore i think has started with a tough schedule but from what i saw they are better than their record. prediciton City Eagleville Huntland Cornersville Moore Co

He can def play. Maybe it was just a bad day with bus issues,long travel, etc.. Harriman took a couple on the chin from middle tn today falling to Fayetteville City and Richland.

I think its possible for Richland to give them a battle. Raiders will have strong guard play from seniors and a junior but the rest will be freshman and sophomores. If the young talent can buy in early they can be very good again. They probably have a little more height than last season with sophomore around 6'6" and freshman around 6'4". but the guard play will be critical . Eagleville and Santa Fe could also have something for this region. Eagleville has young talent also but they are always well coached. Santa Fe has a returning scoring machine with Slaughter and added his younger brother who scored over 1k in middle school. Also a couple senior big men inside. Should be a fun year.

Who ya got in the region this year . Fayetteville looks to be the early favorite but is there anybody that can give them a run ?

Don’t sleep on Richland freshman Shelby Higgins. She will at times show she’s a youngster and other times she’s gonna drop 30.

Would that be the kick to the head ? Actually General I think this is 2 good teams playing. No one giving the raiders a chance because they’ve been out of the picture for a couple decades. They ain’t flashy but they will fight til the end. Both teams need to figure out how to stop the others rush attack in the second half. Best of luck to the rockets and GO Raiders !!

Too much depth for Summertown I thought . Jesse had 17 in the first half and was able to play her game. Stown press made her move to point in the second half to get it up the court. Should be some good matchups for substate if things stay the same between Loretto, Summertown, Houston County and Richland

Haven’t seen much of the top 2 ranked teams in class A , but 3 -7 I’ve seen several games from each. Richland looks to have the most talent imo of those teams. Summertown and Loretto both are good teams along with Perry co and Jo Byrns.. 5 good teams right here in the mid state. I think any of the 5 could make some noise at state.. only problem is they only have 2 spots for them due to region layout..

I believe Summertown was missing one starter from the lineup. Richland has a lot of talent and depth and I think the speed shocked some last night. They jumped out to an 18 point 1st qtr lead and never looked back .

Should be a good one. Raiders are down the teams best offensive player so that may help the Dawgs out. However don’t think it’s enough help for the W . 27-20 Raiders

Richland is no stranger to close games or good teams. After seeing LC yesterday ill take Richland by 3..

There are still a few ( very few ) Richland faithful. They do have talent this year, but cant seem to play for 4 qtrs of ball. QB is good, got some speed at WR and a RB with power. They would like to be a power - option team, but seem to always be trailing and rely on the pass. Defensively, the leak like a burnt beaver dam.. I hope someday soon they will learn how to win again, but til then still going to pull for them...

Not to start rumors that arent true, but heard he and 3 others were arrested this morning..

Game just took a real good turn for PC. Looks as if MT. P wont have their QB for the rest of the season....

PC wins 38-26...3 or 4 onside kicks by PC in 2nd half , and they recovered them all...
