  1. No need to be a smart butt. I was only concern that he may be leaving the team. You should have wrote "early exit FOR the stars, not FROM the stars" meaning from tournament play. Thought you knew something the rest of us didn't. "Kerry needs to get back on the floor or look for an early exit from the Siegel Stars." That is what you wrote so don't be jumping down people's throat. It was a honest question.
  2. I don't care about Cutter. He's a drama queen! Everyone knows it. As a team, Siegel outplayed Blackman. I go to watch a TEAM. More excuses. I saw Alex hit the floor but I don't remember Paul. I think it would have been noticable if Paul went diving to the floor. When Blackman figures out how to get the ball to Paul more, they will no doubt win more games. As for the comment made earlier, I gave props to Blackman 3 point shooting!
  3. I'm sorry but out playing a team IS how you win the ballgame. Big No. 52 didn't hardly play the 3 quarter. As for Cutter running in out of the ballgame, it may be to keep Blackman for hitting those famous 3's. That can get you back in the ballgame real fast. And for all the excuses mentioned above and in the last three posts, when Siegel's posters get on here with excuses everyone says to quit your crying. So quit your crying! It's over and done with.
  4. It is more than oakland won by last night. 14 point win vs. a 8 point win.
  5. Have to agree about the coaching staff on this one. The MVP award is up to individual interpretation. Is the player most valuable to the team or to 7-AAA? If it is to the district, I say it real close between Carter and Cutter. If its to a team, then it would have to be Carter hands down. Watched the Siegel/Blackman game the other night and didn't hardly recognize Carter. He seems to have grown in size. On the other hand, it seems Cutter has grown also. But Cutter has grown a different way - UP!
  6. I hope you are just kidding because that is probably one of the dumbest statements I have ever read. Lets see if I can list all the athletes and activities on a band in the Boro - 4 swimmers (2 of which competed on the state level), 2 soccer players, 5 rugby players (won state competetion in 2007). Also many band members participate in other activities - 2 homecoming queens and courts, 2 homecoming kings and courts, student body presidents, student council members, sorority members, drama, chamber choir, women choruses, musicals, HOSA, service clubs and various academic clubs. Not to mention all the academic and music scholarships. Several graduates are now marching at the college level or in concert bands. Seems to me that these band kids are well rounded individuals.
  7. Its called forgiveness. Montori needs some positive things to happen and they have. His attitude has changed. Sometimes people need second changes to grow up. Hopefully he will continue this better attitude or he will be tossed from the program.
  8. Not required to wear suits. Thought white county may have to. /sad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" />
  9. You said he was a SENIOR LEADER, not me. You still didn't answer my question. Nothing said about worshipping him, just better for the team to have this opportunity. They are not going to have him next year. Doubt he'll have a suit on! That must be a white county thing!
  10. Have to agree with you on these bands but maybe not in that order!! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  11. Wow sparta boy! You sure get around. You were at Lavergne last Friday night? Don't talk about something you know nothing about. I was there and yes it was not smart but it was done out of being overly aggressive. Technical fouls were going both ways. Yes Cutter deserved a technical but not removed from the game with one second left on the clock. The lady ref was good but the young ref seem to have a chip on his shoulder over both teams. He seemed to have gotten real mad during the girls game and it carried over to the boys. Good opportunity for the team to mesh together without Cutter.
  12. If you saw Siegel last year then you would be proud that Cutter is not shooting the ball all the time. He did not have a good feel for the court last year and is playing a more TEAM oriented style of play. Hopefully he can enjoy playing and not have so much pressure on him to produce like last year. Ive never seen him have so many assists that he has this year. Very positive play coming out of Siegel so far, even with the 2 losses.
  13. True. I forget that Lavergne and Smyrna are in Rutherford County. DUMB!
  14. I thought the county "thing" only applied to teachers and full time staff at the county schools. Oh I know Randy would not risk such a thing. I just thought David would have to sit out a year. Oakland still has a good lineup this year.
  15. Got a couple of questions - Brandon Messick, is he better or was this roster made before his injury. I hope he's better. 2nd ? - David Hockenberry played for Siegel last year. How come he is allowed to play, does he not have to sit out a year. He still lives in the Siegel zone.
  16. PATMAN - calling baxter "a man" is a far stretch from the truth. He does not represent Siegel posters. Siegel has been in the same shoes as Oakland for too many years. We do have respect for ALL the teams in this region. A region considered one of the strongest in the state.
  17. By the way, how is Brandon? Ignore Davidbaxter, he's an idiot! All teams in this district has respect for each other. Any one of them could win on any given night.
  18. I'm not from Lavergne so I don't know the reasons behind their band not playing. I do know what I have been told by a band director - the band is only suppose to play when their team has the ball. If your team has the ball more than your band plays more. Time outs are a free for all. Also I have been told that once a band starts playing during a time out, the other band is suppose to wait until they stop before they begin playing. I guess its some kind of band etiquette
  19. One would think that after 5 years you Oakland people would get over the big split. You have had time to rebuild you marching band. How about supporting your local bands. Siegel show is a step up. No one has this show. This show is an original. No copy cat shows or theme shows that have been done over and over again. Come see it and you be the judge.
  20. Just typical comments from someone from Bedsoe. Could you get anymore redneck? Wow, square in the dang mouth! And you were educated in Bledsoe County?
  21. This was in a previous post you wrote on another forum - "I am sure that you are perfect aren't you, SCHS and have never messed up in a game , practice, or the game of life..... RIGHT????? Just using YOUR logic, SCHS...... No one plays a perfect game and no one lives a perfect life." FORGIVENESS Is there always going to be hate between you and anyone from Siegel?
