  1. Got this error tonight when I tried to bring up schedule for a team in the "District Standings" section. Specifically, on Loretto's baseball page. I tried all the teams and got the same database error. Here is what I got: Railo 3.1.1.000 Error (Missinginclude) Message Page /team.cfm [/mnt/wwwroot/states/team.cfm] not found Java Stacktrace Page /team.cfm [/mnt/wwwroot/states/team.cfm] not found at railo.runtime.PageSourceImpl.loadPage(PageSourceImpl.java:112):112 at railo.runtime.PageContextImpl.doInclude(PageContextImpl.java:638):638 at railo.runtime.listener.ClassicAppListener._onRequest(ClassicAppListener.java:35):35 at railo.runtime.listener.ClassicAppListener.onRequest(ClassicAppListener.java:26):26 at railo.runtime.PageContextImpl.execute(PageContextImpl.java:1679):1679 at railo.runtime.engine.CFMLEngineImpl.serviceCFML(CFMLEngineImpl.java:248):248 at railo.loader.servlet.CFMLServlet.service(CFMLServlet.java:32):32 at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java:91):91 at com.caucho.server.dispatch.ServletFilterChain.doFilter(ServletFilterChain.java:103):103 at com.caucho.server.webapp.WebAppFilterChain.doFilter(WebAppFilterChain.java:175):175 at com.caucho.server.dispatch.ServletInvocation.service(ServletInvocation.java:240):240 at com.caucho.server.hmux.HmuxRequest.handleRequest(HmuxRequest.java:424):424 at com.caucho.server.port.TcpConnection.run(TcpConnection.java:481):481 at com.caucho.util.ThreadPool$Item.runTasks(ThreadPool.java:685):685 at com.caucho.util.ThreadPool$Item.run(ThreadPool.java:607):607 at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619):619 Thanks
  2. It's not about the money. Trust me. Athletics and academics (the area he is responsible for) are 2 totally different things.
  3. In my opinion, this is Dr. Heath once again sticking his nose where it don't belong but o well let the games begin!
  4. Folks, here is a good read I found today while browsing. Definitely something to keep in mind here on the T. http://arstechnica.com/business/news/20 ... u-love.ars Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love By Ken Fisher | Last updated 5 days ago Did you know that blocking ads truly hurts the websites you visit? We recently learned that many of our readers did not know this, so I'm going to explain why. There is an oft-stated misconception that if a user never clicks on ads, then blocking them won't hurt a site financially. This is wrong. Most sites, at least sites the size of ours, are paid on a per view basis. If you have an ad blocker running, and you load 10 pages on the site, you consume resources from us (bandwidth being only one of them), but provide us with no revenue. Because we are a technology site, we have a very large base of ad blockers. Imagine running a restaurant where 40% of the people who came and ate didn't pay. In a way, that's what ad blocking is doing to us. Just like a restaurant, we have to pay to staff, we have to pay for resources, and we have to pay when people consume those resources. The difference, of course, is that our visitors don't pay us directly but indirectly by viewing advertising. (Although a few thousand of you are subscribers, and we thank you all very, very much!) My argument is simple: blocking ads can be devastating to the sites you love. I am not making an argument that blocking ads is a form of stealing, or is immoral, or unethical, or makes someone the son of the devil. It can result in people losing their jobs, it can result in less content on any given site, and it definitely can affect the quality of content. It can also put sites into a real advertising death spin. As ad revenues go down, many sites are lured into running advertising of a truly questionable nature. We've all seen it happen. I am very proud of the fact that we routinely talk to you guys in our feedback forum about the quality of our ads. I have proven over 12 years that we will fight on the behalf of readers whenever we can. Does that mean that there are the occasional intrusive ads, expanding this way and that? Yes, sometimes we have to accept those ads. But any of you reading this site for any significant period of time know that these are few and far between. We turn down offers every month for advertising like that out of respect for you guys. We simply ask that you return the favor and not block ads. If you read a site and care about its well being, then you should not block ads (or you subscribe to sites like Ars that offer ads-free versions of the site). If a site has advertising you don't agree with, don't go there. I think it is far better to vote with page views than to show up and consume resources without giving anything in return. I think in some ways the Internet and its vast anonymity feeds into a culture where many people do not think about the people, the families, the careers that go into producing a website. People talk about how annoying advertisments are, but I'll tell you what: it's a lot more annoying and frustrating to have to cut staff and cut benefits because a huge portion of readers block ads. Yet I've seen that happen at dozens of great sites over the last few years, Ars included. Invariably someone always pops into a discussion like this and brings up some analogy with television advertising, radio, or somesuch. It is not in any way the same; advertisers in those mediums are paying for potential to reach audiences, and not for results. They have complex models which tell them if X number are watching, Y will likely see the ad (and it even varies by ad position, show type, etc!). But they really have no true idea who sees what ad, and that's why it's a medium based on potential and not provable results. On the Internet everything is 100% trackable and is billed and sold as such. Comparing a website to TiVo is comparing apples to asparagus. And anyway, my point still stands: if you like this site you shouldn't block ads. Invariably someone else will pop in and tell me that it's not their fault that our business model sucks. My response is simple: you either care about the site's well-being, or you don't. As for our business model sucking, we've been here for 12 years, online-only. Not many sites can say that. Let me stop and clarify quickly that I am not saying that we are on the verge of vanishing from the Internet. But we, like many, many sites are greatly affected by ad blocking, and it is a very worrisome trend. So I'll end this part of the discussion by just reiterating my point: blocking ads hurts the sites you love. Please consider not blocking ads on those sites.
  5. This sounds like the crew we had the other night in Santa Fe.
  6. We got the T because we didn't have a sub at the scorer's table. Coach was trying to get the ref to confer with the other two refs if the foul was indeed on Abby. There was some confusion if the foul should have been on Abby. The ref, being stubborn and reffing with an ego, refused to do so and administered the T. End of story.
  7. Let's just say you and all Mustang fans have a very different opinion of what happened there. Also, I hate to say this but yall won't beat Wayne Co. Too solid.
  8. They did screw that up to. One of many things they screwed up. Your order of how it should've been makes sense. Loretto's coach was asking for an explanation of the call, by the way, which he never received.
  9. I agree. I may post video later. I know it won't change the outcome, but I want everybody to see this guy who obviously has a grudge against Loretto in action.
  10. When the woman pops up talking, if you press the ESC key on your keyboard, she goes away whether there is a close button or not.
  11. LHS stopped playing LCHS because the LCHS crowd got out of hand every year. There's supporting your team, and taking it too far. This rivalry used to be fun, but over the years it stopped being fun. If you took a poll of the players on whether the players feel safe, I guarantee you the majority would say they don't feel safe on the court.
  12. No more cannon...not sure what happened to it.
  13. Game will be played on Thursday due to Loretto Volleyball will hopefully be playing for a state championship on Friday. Good luck to both teams!
  14. They ran some tests and word is he is fine, and got released tonight. Thanks for asking.
  15. You won't see any Loretto players on here because they take care of any business on the field. However, I will say Loretto is not taking you lightly either, and they will be ready to play. Good luck to both teams.
  16. It is true. Something smells fishy around here...
  17. I'm picking Summertown. Go Eagles.

I also saw great improvement this year from EH. I knew yall were an improved team since the first game of the year at Loretto.
  19. score3

    District 10 AA

They're thinking tomorrow's games will also be at Loretto because Spring Hill's field is reportedly still under water.
  20. score3

    District 10 AA

Teams are playing as I type at Loretto. Last count I had, Loretto 4 East Hickman 1 5th
  21. score3

    District 10 AA

Latest: The Loretto side of the bracket are going to try and play all games tomorrow (Monday) at Loretto. LHS has a full infield tarp that has been on the field since Friday. Games are scheduled to begin at 2 pm tomorrow, and go 4:30, then 7.
  22. The extender is GREAT for daytime use especially in baseball. Just not night time...
